Experiements with watercolour free flows and following thought processes during watercolour play informs through these patterns and colours that emerge and then memories of past experiences come up through the process of adding, subtracting and giving colour additions to spots and adding other mediums (collage, charcoal, pencil, etc). The latest one Narre Warren Cut Up brings out an old memory where my childhood was taken away and plunged into isolation by way of councils taking the land away to give to developers.
